Your mission

The Michelberger Hotel & Restaurant has been welcoming and serving Berliners and their guests since 2009.

Our team creates a wide range of experiences tailored to the needs and wishes of each occasion in a variety of hotel rooms, event spaces, and public areas. In our restaurant, café, and bar, we serve the best regional products sourced from a sustainable network of farmers, hunters, and suppliers we trust, as well as from our own Michelberger Hof, a food forest in the Spreewald/Brandenburg.

The Michelberger family also includes the ORA Restaurant, THEKE Bistro, MXPSM Distillery, PEOPLE Festivals, and beverage manufacturer Fountain of Youth.

We are currently looking for a new member to join our Event Office team in the role of 
Coordinator (m/f/d) on a full-time basis.

As a Event Coordinator / Office (m/f/d), you will be responsible for all in-house events and will oversee them from the first meeting through to implementation and invoicing.
As part of the team, you will set monthly targets, discuss current topics and ensure that all departments concerned are informed about their tasks. In consultation with the Head of Events, you develop the competition and pricing strategy and implement it.
In the Operations department, too, you’ll be responsible for organising events and won’t shy away from actively supporting the Event Operations Team.
 


Tasks:
  • Sales and planning of corporate events such as conferences, workshops and meetings
  • Sales and planning of celebrations such as weddings, family gatherings and business dinners
  • Planning of in-house musical and culinary events
  • Handover to the event service team and coordination of on-site operations
  • Issuing invoices
  • Internal communication with all relevant departments  
  • Working with the Protel Air event tool and all Office programmes

Your profile

  • Excellent and conscientious organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of the upscale catering industry
  • Experience in the event industry
  • Fluent in German & English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Social media skills and marketing experience
  • Knowledge of Open Table, Vectron & Protel Air an advantage
