Our team creates a wide range of experiences tailored to the needs and wishes of each occasion in a variety of hotel rooms, event spaces, and public areas. In our restaurant, café, and bar, we serve the best regional products sourced from a sustainable network of farmers, hunters, and suppliers we trust, as well as from our own Michelberger Hof, a food forest in the Spreewald/Brandenburg.
The Michelberger family also includes the ORA restaurant, THEKE bistro, MXPSM distillery, PEOPLE festivals, and beverage manufacturer Fountain of Youth.
We are looking for full-time support in our kitchen for our dinner team at Michelberger!
You always strive to produce high-quality dishes, both in terms of design and taste. You underline this with your knowledge of the origin of our food and the journey from farm to table.
Your areas of responsibility are:
- Deputy sous chef
- Help in the preparation and design of all food menus
- Ensure you meet our quality standards and follow all instructions
- Preciseness in all aspects of the kitchen operation are expected from you
- Strictly follow all recipes and production procedures
- Knowledge of high quality products, cooking practices and kitchen operations
- Strong communication within the team and to managers
- Participate on the job trainings and transform them into action
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations, safety standards & cleaning schedules/procedures
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with other departments
- awareness of Emergency Procedures
- Ensure your shift and work section is operating perfect and well organized and prepared
