Your mission

Our farm team is looking to add support to our kitchen.

The Michelberger Hof is located in the Spreewald and produces food for the Michelberger Restaurant and the ORA Restaurant in Berlin in its own forest garden. Since 2023, we have been offering overnight accommodation with meals sourced directly from the forest garden. Guests passing through or on a day trip to the Spreewald are welcome to visit us for breakfast or dinner. We serve freshly harvested ingredients, mainly perennial vegetables and various types of fruit, herbs, meat, and dairy products from surrounding and friendly farms, such as Gut Ogrosen,  Hof Untermühle and Landgut Preschen. We are open four evenings a week (Thursday to Sunday for dinner and Friday to Monday for breakfast). We cook according to the “farm to table” concept, using products from our own fields.
This is how we create our drinks, dishes, herbal teas, and cakes for afternoon coffee.

Your profile

  • You’re interested in the farm-to-table concept and want to work in nature.
  • You’ve completed your culinary training or have already worked in a restaurant kitchen for 1–2 years.
  • You’re willing to come to Vetschau from Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday and leave the city behind.
  • You’re willing to be fully available during the season.
  • You’re willing to be part of a special project.
We are offering a part-time position with a weekly work schedule of 24–30 hours.
Our peak season runs from spring through fall.
